"After a professional business career of 31 years and attaining a degree in History of Art from the University of Kingston, I resumed my creative journey as an artist who is passionate about painting.

 When I originally lived in the Algarve I worked in acrylic on canvas influenced by the region's wonderful light and exhibited and sold a number of my paintings.

On my return to the UK my intuition and motivation continued to be inspired by dynamic colours which I use abundantly in my work.  My recent paintings tend towards impressionism and abstraction created in acrylic and mixed media often with a palette knife.

Having recently resettled in the beautiful Algarve I am again inspired by the region's light and abundant nature."
