Manda Beeching lives close to Sanlucar de Guadiana on a small finca overlooking the river. Much of her work is the result of days spent in the valley below her house making drawings and watercolour studies that are translated into paintings in her studio. 
Having previously worked with textiles she now uses paint to express her love of colour and texture, which is reflected in the strong, simple shapes of her still life studies and the abstract qualities of the landscape paintings.
